Background noises are a big distraction when it comes to video and audio calls. But thanks to advancements in technology that doesn’t have to be always the case. Such technology is now available on Google Meet.
In a recent update, Google Meet customers can now be able to enjoy background noise-free video calls courtesy of a new Noise Cancellation feature.
How to Filter out noise from your video conference on Google Meet

That’s how you do it.
Availability
Noise cancellation is a much-needed feature on Google Meet although, as of now, it’s only available for few. This feature is currently available to G Suite Enterprise, G Suite Enterprise for Education, and G Suite Enterprise Essentials accounts. Another limitation is that its only available on the web, but mobile support is also incoming. Google says it will be “soon.”
For now it’s available in the US, and Google plans to roll it out to users in Australia, Brazil, India, Japan, and New Zealand in the coming weeks.
N/B: Meet filters out noises that don’t sound like voices. Voices from TV or people talking at the same time won’t be filtered out.
